Collective Energy faced exactly this challenge. Their team regularly monitored numerous official websites, checked for updates, and manually compared new information with their internal records. It was slow, repetitive, and tied up valuable resources.
We developed a solution to automate this entire process.
A Central, Always-Updated Subsidy Database
The core idea: a system that continuously scans official sources, identifies new subsidies or regulatory changes, and updates a searchable internal database.
Each relevant website was analyzed individually, and we developed a dedicated crawler tailored to its structure. These crawlers run regularly on Collective Energy’s own server.
Whenever the system finds a subsidy, it automatically compares it with existing entries in the database. New subsidies are added immediately, and expiring subsidies are flagged.
This creates a real-time overview of all relevant funding opportunities, without anyone needing to check dozens of pages manually. The internal database is fully searchable and accessible to all employees, giving the team quick answers whenever they need them.
Weekly Notifications for the Team
To keep everyone in the loop, we added an automated email system. Subscribed employees receive a weekly update summarizing:
